Recruitment
Delta Upsilon has been very proactive this semester on recruiting new members that will uphold our four founding principles: Diffusion of Liberal Culture, Promotion of Friendship, Development of Character and Advancement of Justice. Being involved with the university and utilizing recruitment events has allowed us to meet many new faces this fall semester. Even before the start of classes, the recruitment team compiled a names list of over 90 men that showed great interest in getting involved with Delta Upsilon. We then proceeded to contact these men, invite them to recruitment events, and follow up with them on a daily basis to see if they meet the criteria and qualifications to receive an invitation into our chapter. Delta Upsilon continues to invest a lot of effort, time and money to ensure that the potential new members experience a great time when they attend these fraternity related events. DU has hosted events such as Free wing nights, cosmic bowling, Cookouts, Capture the flag, and Ultimate frisbee.
Here is the best part..... RECRUITMENT ISN'T OVER!!! Everyday we seek men that contain certain qualities: challenge themselves, going above and beyond, and passion to be affiliated with the most prestigious organization on campus. DU has continued to display leadership on and off campus while being a dominant force, a leader, and consistently being a powerhouse in the Greek society. In the last four years we have produced: Two student body Presidents and six senators. We have various members on several committees including IFC's Executive Board. When it comes to leading in Greek events DU is no different. In the last four years DU has won XI Man, two Songfest overall victories, DZ Lipsnyc Choice award, not to mention placing in various intramural sports. DU has won "Greek Man of the Year" three out of the past four years. It's simple, if you want to be a better man become a brother of Delta Upsilon.
