Kent State Chapter of Delta Upsilon
From 1922-1948 a local fraterntiy existed at Kent State by the name of Kappa Mu Kappa. In 1948 KMK made the decision to join a national fraternity. After a review of many fraternities, KMK decided on Delta Upsilon as their fraternity of choice. With a strong motto to live by and four principles that should be adopted by every man, The Kent State Chapter of Delta Upsilon was born.
With our history of KMK we are Kent's oldest and best fraternity. We strive to initiate members into our fraternity with a desire to live by our principles and advance the name and reputation of Delta Upsilon. Here at Delta Upsilon, we see the potential of our members to become leaders in the world and we start that growing process at initiation.
Our chapter has a rich history and many notable alumni, including Notre Dame Hall of Fame football coach, Brother Lou Holtz.
As Kent State DU's we have a storied reputation to live up to and advance into the future.
